The First Post (Directors Cut)

Yep well I'm an idiot and made code changes while connected to the database, so unfortunately you'll have to suffer my faithful recreation of my own blog post. It does however come with the added benefit of the new markdown editor I'm using therefore it's clearly going to be a superior post. I've finally followed through and completed the blog. It only took about 9 months from when I originally said I would make one. I will admit I cheated a little (lot) and followed a tutorial for essentially everything seen but it did help me learn NodeJs and express so I'm confident in making further additions and upgrades to the site (I'll make sure to disconnect from the database first next time tho). I feel it necessary to both curse and thank my friend [Harry](https://barold.dev/) for not warning me about how utterly awful an idea this was but also his blog post on his sites configuration respectively. I also feel it necessary to ask Maxim where his website is considering he's single handedly breaking our totally very real webring. I'll make a more detailed blog post around the making of the site and some of the upgrades in a week or twos time when I'm happier with the end result but this will have to suffice for now.
